Lauren is dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to all as a devout teacher creating an environment where all are inspired to reach their full potential in a supportive, nurturing, and joyful atmosphere. Lauren is currently pursuing her Bachelor's of Science in Dance Pedagogy at Oklahoma City University, Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. Her coursework consists of Ballet Pedagogy, Tap Pedagogy, Jazz Pedagogy, Introduction to Teaching Strategies, Choreography Theory, Choreography Studio, Costume Lab, History of Dance Teaching, Dance Health, and Dance Anatomy. These courses have helped shape Lauren's understanding of how to teach dance to all ages and levels in a safe and fun way. This upcoming year, Lauren is so excited to teach at the Community Dance Academy at Oklahoma City University where she will have the opportunity to teach dancers weekly! Lauren is greatly looking forward to making a positive impact in each dancer’s life by sharing the joy of dance.
